The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating several incidents relating to suspicious persons in the area known as West Ridge in the City of Orillia.
The OPP have received several complaints of suspicious persons in the West Ridge area. There have been several incidents where people have been approached by a male or observed a male acting in a suspicious manner.
Police are reminding the public to be aware of their surroundings at all times and that their safety is a priority. If they observe someone acting in a suspicious manner or someone approaches them in a suspicious manner to call the police right away.
If possible, a detailed description of the person and vehicle should be noted including make and model of the vehicle with licence plate.
