Police investigate transport rollover

The driver suffered minor injuries

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a commercial motor vehicle rollover in the Washago area in the Township of Severn.

On Sunday, April 29, at approximately 7 p.m., the Orillia OPP were dispatched to the rollover in Washago on County Road 169 near the Highway 11 off ramp. The vehicle was carrying scrap metal, which spilled.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated by County of Simcoe Paramedic Services. Severn Fire Department and Canadian National Rail Police were also dispatched to the scene to assist. The highway was closed for a short period of time for clean-up.
