ORO-MEDONTE - On Sept. 11, 2018 the Orillia detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a fatal collision on Ridge Rd. W. between Lines 5 and 6 in Oro Medonte.
Police were dispatched at approximately 10:20 p.m. to reports of a single motor vehicle collision. The lone occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. The road will be closed to allow for police investigation.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
The Orillia OPP are seeking witnesses. If anyone witnessed this or has information surrounding the circumstances surrounding this collision, they are encouraged to contact the Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 705-726-6484.
