Police seek assistance in locating missing Penetanguishene man

PENETANGUISHENE - Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently searching for a missing male from the Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care in Penetanguishene.

Police received a missing person report on July 25, 2018 when the male failed to return to the hospital.

The missing male is Devin Pattenden, 29 years of age and is described as 180 cm tall, approximately 76 kg with blue eyes and dark short hair with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured shirt or hoodie and jeans.

He is known to frequent the Barrie, Huronia West, or the Coldwater areas.

Police and hospital officials are asking for the public's assistance in locating the missing male and ask that any information be provided to the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 so he may be safely returned to the hospital for continued care and treatment.
