Police seek help nabbing thief who stole trailer from Severn Township

Surveillance footage showed older burgundy Ford pickup truck towing trailer away in the early morning hours of June 22

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the theft of an enclosed trailer from a Brodie Drive, Severn Township business. 

On July 2, 2019, the owner of the trailer realized that it had been stolen from the rear of the property. Surveillance video showed an older burgundy Ford pickup truck entering the premises on June 22, 2019 at 5:31 a.m. and leaving with the 14 foot, black enclosed trailer in tow at 5:33 a.m. 

Police are urging anyone that may have information regarding the theft to contact the Orillia OPP at 705-326-3536 or 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
