Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Bracebridge detachment are investigating after a local gas station was robbed last night.

Just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, officers responded to an alarm at a Highway 11 gas station in Gravenhurst. Officers arrived to find that a male suspect had entered the store, indicated he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene.

OPP officers including Emergency Response Team and Canine Services attended and a search was conducted, but the suspect was not located.

No one was injured in the commission of this crime and the investigation is ongoing.
