September break and enter remains under investigation

Orillia OPP hope images of suspect and his vehicle lead to an arrest

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is  investigating a break and enter to a business on Laclie Street in the City of Orillia.

On Sept. 3, 2018 the Orillia OPP were notified of the break and enter to a local business. As a result of the initial investigation, an Orillia OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) was dispatched to collect evidence. Officers determined that the incident occurred sometime between Sept. 2, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. and Sept. 3, 2018 at 10:20 a.m.

Investigators have uncovered video surveillance of the area and are releasing photos of the suspect and vehicle driven by the suspect.

The suspect is described as:
    •    White male
    •    25-40 years
    •    Approximately 6 feet tall
    •    Clean shaven
    •    Dark brown ball cap
    •    Brown hoodie
    •    Blue jeans
    •    Black and white sneakers

The vehicle is described as:
    •    Black 2002-2005 Hyundai Accent
    •    two-door
    •    Tinted rear windows
