Suspects sought after vandalism, graffiti found at area park

'Although tagging may be viewed as little more than an unsightly nuisance to some, it costs property owners and taxpayers dearly,' says OPP official

Police are looking for those responsible for numerous graffiti incidents in Bracebridge.

Bracebridge OPP reports there have been “several incidents of graffiti” in the past three weeks at Anne Williams Memorial Park, with a case of mischief being reported to police Thursday.

“Although tagging may be viewed as little more than an unsightly nuisance to some, it costs property owners and taxpayers dearly,” Insp. Jason Nickle, detachment commander, said in a news release. “I encourage anyone with information on this or any other crime to come forward. Your information will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly by the Bracebridge OPP members.”
