One of the involved drivers who was sent by air ambulance to a Toronto area trauma hospital following a June 4 crash has passed away from injuries sustained in the collision that involved three vehicles.
The 29-year-old male from Penetanguishene passed on June 24, police say.

A three-vehicle collision Tuesday in Midland has sent four people to hospital.
In a Twitter post, police noted the crash occurred on County Road 93 between Angela Schmidt Foster Road and Yonge Street. A “lengthy” closure of that stretch of County Road 93 is expected, police said.
Four people were taken to hospital, with one being airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries.
Charges have not yet been laid.
