Trailer with 'items of significant value' inside stolen from local business (3 photos)

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a theft of a trailer from a business on Commerce Road in the City of Orillia.

On Jan. 16, 2019 Orillia OPP officers were notified of a theft which occurred on Jan. 15, 2019 between the hours of 10:30 and 11 p.m.

Investigation into the theft revealed that three males drove up to the business in a late model, black Ford F-150 with running boards. Two males got out and attached the trailer to the vehicle. The vehicle then drove off, turning left on Commerce Road, believed to be heading to Highway 11.

Inside the trailer were a number of items of significant value.

The trailer is described as a white four-wheel trailer with no markers and bearing Ontario number plate L4545M.

Police are releasing photos of the suspect vehicle and stolen trailer in hopes someone will have information regarding this theft. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of the trailer or its contents they are encouraged to contact the Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 705-326-3536.
