Verbal argument leads to drug charges for Gravenhurst resident

Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a disturbance at Ridge Road in the Town of Gravenhurst. Officers arrived and located several parties that were engaging in a verbal argument.

Police arrested and charged a 35-year-old John-Paul (J.P) O'Hara of Gravenhurst with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance - cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Section 4(1).

The accused party will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 20, 2021 to answer to this charge.
