Postcard Memories is a weekly series of historic postcard views and photos submitted by Marcel Rousseau.

Some were previously published by the Orillia Museum of Art and History and in the book Postcard Memories Orillia.

Located at the north end of The Narrows on part of the old C.P.R. rail bed, the E. B. Sarjeant & Sons Marina was open from May to October. They provided open and covered boat storage, ice, bait, and all Esso products.

Eric Sarjeant and his sons, Craig and Ken, built the marina in 1956 and continued to operate and expand this busy location until it was sold to Jim Earle in 1968.

The wooden foundation posts and 1910 cement piers for the original G. B. & S. (Georgian Bay & Seaboard) railway swing bridge are visible on the right side.
