Right on JTK! The basic problem is that these selfish childish people do not realize that you wear a mask, social distance and follow the rules not to protect yourself, but to protect others and to stop the spread.

I don't know what kind of pension plan you have DA, but my CPP, OAS, RRSP and DBPP pension payments go up EVERY year without fail, and have survived COVID completely unscathed, unlike the "mom and pop" restaurants and other small businesses. If you expect them to survive you might consider making a "donation" to these "worthy causes".

Cameras..... a great idea! Amber/red combination..... a BAD idea!. When the red bus lights start to flash, it means the driver is slowing down for a stop. If you are following, you MUST do the same. If you are meeting the bus head on, you need to slow down and make a judgement as to whether or not you can safely stop; if not proceed and pass the bus before it stops. It's not rocket science. An amber warning light will motivate drivers on both sides to boot it by the bus as fast as they can, similar to the reaction to the amber light at intersections. An amber light at an intersection means stop. An amber light anywhere else means a slow moving or stopped maintenance vehicle. A blue light used to mean snow removal. Now, police vehicles use a blue and red combination, adding to the confusion. Don't mess with the colours, they mean what they mean. There will always be irresponsible drivers running amber or red lights. Changing the colour won't fix that. --Former bus driver.

The other sad truth is....... once the credit cards are freed up by the LOC, they soon get filled up again with overspending. Now you owe on the credit cards again and you still owe the LOC. It's the Canadian way.

Over $200,000 are the 1% 'ers. But they still pay 20% of our taxes. Look it up on Stats Canada.
