VIDEO: Meet Maverick the wolf at Speaking of Wildlife

OrilliaMatters' cameras pay a visit to Speaking of Wildlife to meet Maverick, a two-year-old wolf as well as a bobcat, an owl, and others

Speaking of Wildlife is a Ministry of Natural Resources licensed and SPCA inspected Wildlife Education Centre that gives permanent homes to non-releasable Ontario Wildlife.

Many of the animals have been orphaned, abandoned, injured or illegally kept as pets and were unable to be returned to the wild.

These animals will live out the rest of their lives at Speaking of Wildlife, travelling across the province (and sometimes beyond) to teach audiences about the animals that we share our environment with.
