My name is Bongo, and the volunteers call me a tripod kitty.

Why tripod? Because I only have three legs. I was found and trapped outside as a stray, where they discovered I had a birth defect and was missing a front leg. My missing leg definitely doesn’t slow me down, though. I love to climb cat trees and lie on the back of your chair. Sometimes I even try to use my little nub to dig in the litter box or try to whack another kitty with it, which doesn’t work, but it makes the volunteers giggle.

Now that I have been brought inside the nice, warm shelter, I have started to flourish and become the perfect indoor kitty. I have no desire to go back out to the cold, rough world. I’d much rather lie in a sunny spot by the window or on your desk.

I love people, and I am quite the chatterbox with my cute, high-pitched meow. I love belly rubs and head scratches and would love to be your best buddy and give you tons of entertainment and laughter.

I am a short-haired, silver, neutered tabby who was born around March 2022.

I am cat selective but not a fighter. I have never been exposed to dogs and I prefer older kids.
