Cooper’s owner unfortunately passed away, and we were called to pick up him and his brother from her apartment. Cooper was the first of the pair to be found in the apartment, after much searching, but there was no sign of his brother Barney at the time.
Barney was found by the cleaners a few days later and we of course went to pick him up as well. We don’t believe the two are bonded with each other (as they haven’t really interacted with each other since coming to the shelter) so we don’t think there will be an issue with adopting them out separately. Unfortunately, since Cooper’s owner passed away, we don’t know anything about his history.
Cooper is a very shy boy who takes time to warm up to you. He does seem to hide a lot at the shelter as he is very nervous of his new environment. Once he warms up to you, he is a total sweetie who loves his belly rubbed and any attention you could possibly give him.
Cooper is a short hair, mostly white with black spots, who we believe was born around the end of 2018. Cooper is a neutered male who is up-to-date on his vaccinations and microchipped. This sweetheart would best suit a quieter home, with other cats would be ok but we don't think a dog would suit this boy.
