This dreamy boy is Dozer.
We believe Dozer was once an indoor cat that had been dumped fairly recently outside of town. He landed in an area with other outside cats that didn’t like him, and he was continually picked on, and then trapped and brought to us.
This boy will often shy away and hide if there is a lot of activity going on, but he is a true ray of sunshine. If you are gentle with him, calm and talk sweetly to him, he will flourish right in front of your eyes.
Dozer was briefly adopted, but the existing resident cat did not care to share the spotlight, so Dozer is once again looking for a warm lap to curl up on. He is great with other quiet and calm kitties and will even snuggle with them, but he is a true people cat and seems to shine when he is around women. We would like for him to go to a home that is quieter, so a teen-plus environment would be best for him.
Dozer is a short-haired, neutered, orange tabby who is up-to-date on vaccinations and is microchipped, and we estimate his date of birth to be March 2021.
