OrilliaMatters, in partnership with the Comfie Cat Shelter, presents this cat adoption feature every Thursday.

Meet Leon, a sweet boy who was adopted from the Comfie Cat Shelter in 2018 and recently returned as his owner became too ill to care for him.

Leon is reserved at first but quickly warms to a loving, calm personality. He loves to be brushed and petted and will make the best buddy to a human companion.

He is a bit of a loner, so if you already have a calm cat in the home, he would do OK. He hasn't been tested with dogs and would likely do well in a home with children who are 10 or older as he is a little skittish with loud noises and fast movements.

Leon is a short-hair, black and white tux, neutered male who was born May 2018. You can meet Leon at our PetSmart adoption centre in Orillia.

He is up to date with his vaccinations, rabies shots, microchipped, neutered and ready to start his new adventure. Will that be with you?

ID#18-243 Leon

To adopt Leon, visit our website, comfiecatshelter.ca, to fill out our online adoption application as your first step to bringing a new furry friend home.

Don’t forget about our upcoming charity euchre tournament Feb. 19. Check the website for details.
