OrilliaMatters, in partnership with the Comfie Cat Shelter, presents this cat adoption feature every Thursday.

This stunning beauty came to us in April 2022 as a pregnant, scared, nearly kitten-aged cat.

Onyx was placed in foster care, where she had her babies (who have been adopted) and she slowly began to come out of her shell. Coming back to the shelter, she regressed to her timid self, but with lots of socialization, this girl has made leaps and bounds and now comes to you for pets and love.

She has so much love to give and she is patient. If another kitty is receiving love, she will wait for her turn. She is an incredible girl and we are so proud of her progress.

Onyx is a short-hair, black, spayed female estimated to have been born in October 2020. She is friendly with kids and other cats but has not been tested around dogs.

To adopt Onyx, visit comfiecatshelter.ca to fill out an online adoption application as your first step to bringing home your new furry friend.

Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for our upcoming annual St. Paddy’s Breakfast fundraiser March 19. Information can be found on our website.
