Orillia Matters, in partnership with the SPCA Orillia Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Squeaky

Hey there, my name is Squeaky and I’m a three-year-old Husky mix. I am a shy girl when you first meet me, but I warm up very quickly.

I am looking for a family that has lots of patience and time to help me live up to my full potential. I would like a quieter home where I can have lots of attention and give lots of eskimo kisses.

Coming in to the Orillia Animal Centre was a bit scary for me. I come from a Northern Community and have travelled a long way to get here.

I was apprehensive of humans at first, but slowly I began to come out of my shell and show my true personality. I am a very funny, sweet, loving girl who is always happy to see the staff. I am learning how to walk on a leash and would benefit from basic obedience training.

If you have room in your heart for a wonderful new furry friend, please come and visit me on the adoption floor at the SPCA Orillia Animal Centre. I look forward to meeting with you!
