Some Apple 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops are being recalled.

Health Canada says the battery can overheat, which poses a possible fire hazard.

As of June 4, there have been no injuries in Canada, but there has been one consumer incident.

In the U.S., 26 consumer incidents have been reported, including five reports of minor burns and one report of smoke inhalation.

The recalled laptop computers have a 15.4 inch (diagonal) display, 2.2-2.5 GHz processors, 256 GB-1 TB solid state storage, two Thunderbolt 2 ports, two USB 3 ports, and one HDMI port.

Approximately 26,000 units were sold in Canada between September 2015 to February 2017.

If you think you might have one, you can check the serial number here.

Health Canada says consumers should immediately stop using the recalled laptop computers and contact Apple to schedule a free repair.

Apple Canada Inc. can be reached through the company's website or by calling toll-free at 1-800-275-2273 at any time.
