NEWS RELEASE
TOWNSHIP OF SEVERN
*****************************
The Township of Severn Administration Office at 1024 Hurlwood Lane will reopen for in-person services on July 27. Residents can call 705-325-2315 or email staff to book an appointment on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To support construction in Severn, the Township of Severn has been offering in-person building services since late May. Starting Monday, all municipal services will be available in person, by appointment only.

Safety measures are in place to protect visitors and staff. Visitors must:

  • wear a face covering such as a mask, bandana or scarf that covers the nose, mouth and chin
  • screen for symptoms of COVID-19
  • sanitize hands
  • keep at least two metres from others

Enhanced cleaning and protective shields also ensure a safe public space.

There are several ways to safely access municipal services, including the drop box available outside the Administration Office.

“We encourage residents to continue to use contactless options,” said Mayor Mike Burkett. “For example, online or telephone banking, pre-authorized payments, and a cheque by mail or drop box are alternatives to paying a bill in person.”

For more information or to book an appointment, please contact Township of Severn at 705-325-2315 or [email protected]. Visit townshipofsevern.com/COVID19 for up-to-date information on COVID-19.
