As a lifelong resident of Orillia, Roy spend his childhood playing various sports in the Sunshine City. Now, Roy enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and three children. After a long career in the insurance industry, Roy made a career change in 2001, which brought him to ReMax Orillia.

Like his father, Mackenzie attended elementary and high school in Orillia, and has family roots dating back over 80 years in Orillia. After graduating from York University, Mackenzie went on to have a successful career in hockey. Shortly thereafter, Mackenzie joined Powerbev Inc., the exclusive distributor of Red Bull. In his role, Mackenzie refined his sales and marketing skills which he uses every day as a sales representative for Team Micks.
