OrilliaMatters received the following letter to the editor in response to our coverage on the homeless encampment being cleared by the city.

I was deeply saddened and angry by this article about the homeless encampment behind Giant Tiger being dismantled.

Where are these people to go? Why would all their possessions be dumped in garbage bins?

I am left wondering what we can do to help.

What charities can we contribute to?
