Every time there is an election, and the “wrong” side wins, we hear the usual suspects complain about “first past the post” and request proportional representation.
No electoral system will ever meet everyone’s expectations. As I recall, at the federal level the Conservatives actually received more votes than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a few years ago, but did not win the most seats.
Be careful what you wish for. Considering what goes on with our neighbour to the south, our British parliamentary electoral process looks pretty good.
