Today’s annoyance is disrespectful people walking their dogs on the public trails.

Today while walking on the trail, a woman (I refuse to say lady as her attitude was not ladylike) was walking two dogs off the leash. I asked if she had seen the sign on the trail stating dogs must be leased and to pick up after your dog. She said she had seen the sign and “I choose to ignore it.”

This person also lets her dogs poop and doesn’t clean it up. I suggested to her she was ignorant, as lots of people use the trails and don’t want to see her dog poop all over the place.

The city council made the rules for the use of the trails, yet we never see bylaw enforcement officers patrolling the trail.

These people need to be shamed. Then maybe they will have a bit of respect for the rules.
