I get annoyed at the protesters complaining about Jill Dunlop not showing up to candidates debates which are stacked with people who have an ax to grind with Jill Dunlop and the Conservatives.

Why would anyone ever bother to show up to one of these phony excuses for a debate?

She is out canvassing door to door and doing face-to-face contact with constituents and has stated she met with 500 constituents in the time that these so-called debates have been taking place. The only legitimate debate is the one put on by the chamber of commerce in the local communities. They are unbiased and not aligned with any of the parties or their platforms.

We just came through a very rough couple of years with the pandemic and, all things considered, the Ford government has done a pretty good job considering all the things they had to deal with. Some will say they should have done this and they should have done that but they really have no idea what is involved in keeping the province running any time, let alone during a pandemic.

Could they have done some things better? Of course, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Let the government get on with their job and let the NDP and Liberals offer some positive solutions instead of constant complaining and bickering.
