OrilliaMatters welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected] or via the website. Please include your full name, daytime phone number and address (for verification of authorship, not publication). The following is from reader Andrea Lee-Burnet, who says the public should take advantage of local performances:

So many of you are missing out on one of the most wonderful cultural events happening here in Orillia.

On Sunday, March 24, The Orillia Concert Association chose The James Campbell Trio to come to town.

What a memorable experience that was. The audience was enthralled by the multi talents of this most accomplished trio.

We season ticket holders look forward to the five annual concerts, which cost little to listen to (for) such superb performances.

You still have a chance to catch the final concert of this remarkable series.

On May 5, Ensemble Vivant will be here to thrill and entertain us. They have been enchanting audiences internationally for over 3 decades with their unique genre-diverse programming, fun and engaging stage presence.

There are still tickets available at the Opera House and chance to buy a 2025 subscription for 5 thrilling concerts at bargain price.

Andrea Lee-Burnet,
Orillia
