Since reporting 1,550 hospitalizations on Tuesday, the number has decreased each day since.

The number of people in intensive care is also down.

There are also 2,244 new COVID cases, although new case counts are underestimated as testing is limited.

The Feb. 19 updates provided by the province's public health agency and the ministry of health also reported the following data:

    • There were four deaths that were removed from the cumulative total based on data cleaning.
