On Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, Orillia Agilec will be hosting their second annual Job Fair and Community Partner Event at the Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn and Conference Centre.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will include over 35 local businesses that are looking to hire in industries such as manufacturing, trades, social services, food and hospitality, retail and more.
Also in attendance will be community agencies that offer services to support individuals in their personal and professional lives. Agilec is committed to inclusive employment. Combining employers and community supports is part of our effort to reduce stigma for those that may be encountering challenges.
Additionally, this is an opportunity for employers to increase their knowledge of available supports for staff within the Orillia community.
Agilec delivers Employment Ontario services in Orillia and surrounding area, geared to support job seekers and employers. The program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
Staff are available weekdays to meet with job seekers and employers.
