Area company finds flashy way to raise awareness of Alzheimer's

Budget Propane owners wrap delivery truck, donate $10K to Alzheimer Society of Ontario campaign

An area company is stepping up to support the Alzheimer Society of Ontario in a way that is hard to miss.

The Callow family owns Budget Propane, south of Gravenhurst, and recently donated $10,000 to the Our Connections Matter campaign in support of World Alzheimer’s Month.

More publicly noticeable than that generous donation is a custom Alzheimer Society of Ontario wrap made for one of the Budget Propane delivery trucks, with the goal of spreading awareness.

“You just have to have a conversation with anyone — either a family member, friend or colleague — to realize how many people and families struggle with Alzheimer’s every day in our communities,” said Bob Callow. “It is important to our family to spread awareness about this very important cause so people know they are not alone and there are supports to help.”

More information about the Alzheimer Society of Ontario can be found here.

The Callow family thanked the Alzheimer Society of Ontario and SlyFox Creative for their support.
