The Lotto Max odds have shone in favour of Andre Harris of Barrie! He won a MaxMillions prize worth $1 million in the March 25, 2022, Lotto Max draw.

The 37-year-old father says he discovered his big win on a Sunday. "I was enjoying my ‘rest day’ when something told me to check my ticket. I went out to my car where I left my ticket and scanned it. Just like that I found out I was a millionaire!” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

Andre shared the big news with his friend and brother right away. "I'm so excited and happy," he smiled.

He plans to invest his win. "I would also love to bring my mom from Jamaica here for a visit," he concluded.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them, as appointment availability at this prize level is limited. Submitting claims online is fast and secure. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.

Lotto Max players in Ontario have won over $7 billion since 2009, including 91 jackpot wins and 752 MaxMillions prizes, right across the province. Lotto Max is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The winning ticket was purchased at Macewen on Dunlop Street in Barrie.
