Blood and plasma donors are being sought for upcoming clinics in Orillia.
“The need for blood and plasma is constant. Your life-saving donation makes all the difference,” Canadian Blood Services stated. “Your blood or plasma donation will have a major impact on patients in your community and across the country.”
As always, those with O-negative blood are especially needed as that blood type can be given to any patient.
The donation clinics will take place June 10 from 2 to 7 p.m. and June 20 from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn and Conference Centre at 400 Memorial Ave.
Appointments are required and can be made at blood.ca.
