This fall, Brechin Public School’s Student Mental Health Team learned that the Child Advocacy Centre of Simcoe-Muskoka has had a funding shortfall.

Many students at the school have benefited from the agency's presentations which have informed students about potential safety risks and strategies to keep themselves safe. For this reason, the team led a successful fundraising drive that included a school dance.

As a result the students were able to present a cheque for $226.30 to Ashley LeClair, a Youth Advocate from the Centre.
