Brothers McClurg Christmas is 'not to be missed'

Band will perform at Westmount Congregation on Dec. 5 with local guest musician, Sean Patrick

Come and experience “A Brothers McClurg Christmas” Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Westmount Congregation.

This rare Canadian performance is not to be missed. The band is known for their beautiful harmonies, crystal clear acoustic guitar melodies and rhythm, drawing from the bluegrass/folk/Appalachian style.

Generations, old and young, alike will connect to the genuine feel of real, live music which is polished and tight but is perfected by its honesty and heartfelt expression. 

Brothers McClurg, made up of Chris and Anthony Hoisington and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Thompson will be accompanied at the Orillia concert by local banjo player and singer Sean Patrick who originally connected with the band 3 years ago at Westmount during their inaugural Canadian performance.

Having grown up in Orillia, Sean is well versed in the area’s diverse blend of musical traditions and whether it be country, blues, folk tunes, bluegrass or gospel, he delights audiences of all walks of life with his musical talent.  

For many years, Brothers McClurg have been sharing their music nationally in the U.S.; bringing their live ministry to hundreds of churches coast to coast and sharing the stage with some of Christian music's biggest acts. 

They have developed a reputation as some of the most talented and authentic live acts in modern Christian music which gives them continued invitations to play for Christian music promotions, churches, Bible institutes, and conferences. They have released 6 albums since 2012, their latest “The Table” in February 2018.

Their celebrated Christmas album, “Goin’ Back to Bethlehem” was released in 2015.  Their insights into worship and songwriting can be heard or read on some of today's finest worship podcasts, magazines, and websites.
