Maybe you’ve been dying to try one of those much-talked about paint nights? Maybe you feel like it’s too much pressure to create a “perfect” masterpiece? Maybe you just want to be creative and have fun?

On Saturday, July 7, the Orillia Public Library is hosting an after-hours Bad Art Night, where you can let your inner (bad) artist loose! Turn off the self-judgment, turn up the confidence and enjoy the creative process of making a sculpture, painting, mobile - whatever kind of bad art you want.

The possibilities are endless!

We will supply everything you need to create your best 'disasterpiece'. You will let your imagination run wild, and at the end we’ll set up an exhibition of Bad Art and everyone will vote on their favourite works of art. This event is for library members ages 18+.

The cost for this event is $5 per person and includes pizza for everyone! Please arrive for Bad Art Night at 4:45 p.m. so we can ensure everyone is present before the library closes.

Please register by calling the Orillia Public Library at 705-325-2556 or [email protected].
