Paso Por Paso's popular perennial plant sale is back.
Green thumbs and those who love plants are invited to come out Saturday, May 28 for an opportunity to enhance the beauty of their home and support a worthwhile charity at the same time.
There will be many perennials available — all graciously donated by Paso supporters. There will also be a good selection of books available for purchase.
The sale will be held at 136 Peter St. N., Orillia, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Paso Por Paso is now in its 16th year as a registered charity. The organization's mandate has been to provide programs in support of Indigenous families in the Lake Atitlan area in Guatemala.
Over the years, Paso Por Paso has sponsored students up to Grade 12, provided scholarships for post-secondary students, funded micro-credit loans for women, supported nutrition programs, contributed to school improvements and emergency funds in time of need.
