A popular Orillia homes tour returns live and in-person this year on Sunday, June 5, from noon to 5 p.m.
The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Orillia’s Homes for Scholarships event features an exclusive tour of five local homes, an optional tea for two package, and a chance to win one of 20 door prizes.
This event supports scholarships for young women pursuing post-secondary education. Since 1974, CFUW Orillia has awarded almost $320,000 in scholarships to over 700 young women.
This year's event will feature BrazzleDazzle. This talented group of young women will be playing at the Pavilion Biindigen located in Couchiching Beach Park from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. as part of this year’s tour.
BrazzleDazzle consists of Peyton Nie on tuba, Grace Locker on trumpet, Brianna Mandarino on euphonium and Ashley Greenwood on the trombone. Sponsored by Theresa Coulson from Simcoe Hills Real Estate Inc., these young women are from the Orillia area. Three members of this group were among the winners of the 2022 CFUW Orillia scholarships.
CFUW Orillia is thrilled to have BrazzleDazzle as an addition to the 47th annual tour.
