CARLEY COMMUNITY HALL
********************
We haven’t even celebrated Halloween but, believe it or not, Christmas is just around the corner. And what better way to get a head start on your Christmas shopping than at the annual Carley Community Hall Christmas Craft Sale. It is Saturday and Sunday Nov. 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days
Come out to beautiful Oro-Medonte and our historic building where you can shop as well as relax and have a delicious homemade lunch. On offer will be minestrone and potato soups or chilli with a tea biscuit and a dessert of cake or cookies.
If you are in a hurry you can simply sit down for a nice cup of tea or coffee and a desert or even take out. The Carley country cooks are famous for their delicious food and have even written a cookbook of their recipes which is on sale.
The Community Hall Board invites all bakers who are interested in helping raise funds for the Hall to contribute to the bake table. Baking is received at the Hall on Friday, Nov. 1 from 6-7 p.m. The bake table is always popular with shoppers and usually sells out quickly at the craft sale the next day.
This year, there are nine crafters selling their wares on both Saturday and Sunday. You can purchase gifts such as homemade jams and jellies, chocolates, candles, wreaths, knitting, clothing and many more one-of-a-kind items.
Carley Community Hall is located at 396 Warminster Sideroad between Line 8 and Line 9. You can find us on the Township of Oro-Medonte website or at www.carleycommunityhall.com. Also find us at Facebook.com/carleycommunityhall.
We look forward to seeing you there.
