Dying Matters: Reflections of Growth Through Grief is a community-based exhibition and fundraiser created in partnership with Hospice Orillia.

These past two years have been trying, to say the least. Many of us have experienced change, suffered loss, and hopefully felt moments of joy in between. The artists in this juried group exhibition expressed their feelings through various artforms, reflecting their unique voices.

The sales from these artworks will be distributed between the artist (50 per cent), Hospice Orillia (25 per cent) and the Orillia Museum of Art and History (25 per cent), unless noted otherwise. If you would like to purchase an artwork from this exhibition, or make a donation, please visit a member of our team on the main floor.

The artists, Hospice Orillia and OMAH thank you for your generous support.

A closing reception for the exhibition will take place July 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., at OMAH. More information can be found here.

The artists featured include: Stephen Cruise, Carol Deimling, Luci Dilkus, Mary Helen Garvin, Ingi Gould, Kate Grigg, Sadko Hadzihasanovic, Jelica Jovin, Jodi Kitto-Ward, Chantal Kreviazuk, Meg Leslie, Dani Magder, Claudia Mandler McKnight, Hien Nguyen, Dan Nuttall, Gaia Orion, Krista Pain, Lise Rowlandson, Charlotte Sprague, Neil Sternberg, Shannon Taylor-Jones, Irina Teske, Mary Ann Tully, Margaret Wasiuta, Karen Wild and Vanessa Willow Giniiw-Ikwe.
