The Atrium Retirement residents are feeling festive as they prepare for their annual outdoor Christmas tree-lighting and carolling event.

Along with their families and friends, Atrium residents are looking forward to gathering around their outdoor Christmas tree to sing Christmas carols. A local choir, Sing-It, will be participating at the event, bringing joy for all through traditional carols that are well known and loved. An outdoor fire pit will keep everyone cozy and warm while enjoying free hot chocolate and home-baked shortbread.

“It is events like these that bring our community together,” said Laurie Brewer, sales and marketing manager at the Atrium. “Our residents are happiest when they are engaged in special programs with family and friends. They feel proud to be able to invite folks from their local area to these events in order to share good moments and give back to the community that supports them.”

“I like to see the Christmas decorations at our home,” commented Atrium resident Marilyn Webb. “It gives me a good feeling and sharing that with others makes it very special.”

Atrium Retirement Residence welcomes everyone to stop by and join in with the festivities on Friday, Nov. 25, 3 p.m., at 230 Coldwater Rd. W. in Orillia.
