Circle the date Friday, Dec. 9 on your calendars if you're looking for discounts at the gas pumps.
Circle K's Fuel Day is happening on Friday from 7-10 a.m., where some local convenience stores/gas stations will be lowering the price at the pump by 10 cents per litre.
The company says this is its first Fuel Day in Canada and it will happen at more than 370 Circle K locations in Ontario.
Mélissa Lessard, head of North America marketing at Couche-Tard/Circle K, says the company's intention is to thank its loyal customers over the holiday season.
"As people begin to travel, gather and celebrate the season, it's the perfect time to show our appreciation with our first Fuel Day in Canada happening here in Ontario,” Lessard said in a news release.
During Fuel Day, from 7-10 a.m., Circle K says it will also offer deals on beverages, fresh food, confectionery, coffee and more. Customers will receive a limited supply of coupon books available in stores that can be used until the end of January 2023 in Ontario.
Prices on the pump will reflect the discount price during that time.
