Oro-Medonte Fire & Emergency Services responded to a garage fully engulfed in flames at 9 Hawthorne Place at 12:59 Monday afternoon.
"This afternoon we got paged out for a fully engulfed garage fire. Four stations responded to it," said acting deputy chief, Donny Adamson.
"On arrival, the garage was starting to collapse. Luckily it was a detached garage with no extension to the house, and no civilians or firefighters were injured."
Adamson says it's not yet known what caused the fire, adding the investigation is ongoing.
