The Orillia Vocal Ensemble resumes its rehearsals Sept. 10 and would love to add some new voices to the group.
Calling all singers!

The Orillia Vocal Ensemble is looking for people who love to sing! The Orillia Vocal Ensemble is a community choir that raises money for local charities through its concerts.

Since forming, the OVE has raised approximately $150,000 for local charities. Some of those charities are the Community Foundation of Orillia and Area, Couchiching Jubilee House, the Sharing Place Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hillcrest Lodge, Green Haven Women's Shelter, Camp Couchiching and Information Orillia.

There is no audition required for the general choir; just a desire to sing and have fun. More advanced choristers also have the option to audition for the OVE Chamber Ensemble.

Rehearsals are at St. Paul's Centre on Peter Street North in Orillia, Tuesday evenings, 7:30 to 9:30 pm. beginning Sept. 10. Come at 7 pm. for the first night to register and get music.

For more information, contact the choir at [email protected] or the Music Director, Roy Menagh, at 705-327-3105. Or just show up on the 10th to make music!
