DRESS FOR SUCCESS ORILLIA AND BARRIE

Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie’s Breakfast Club program is starting up in Orillia on April 25.
Breakfast Club is a free, nine-week program for unemployed or under-employed women and non-binary individuals who are looking for work and need support.
The program is designed to assist clients by addressing obstacles to employment in a friendly, non-judgmental group setting, keeping clients motivated to continue their job search.
The facilitators of Breakfast Club cover goal setting, job interviews, career stepping stones, confidence, mental health, support networks and more. The final week of the program includes free hair and makeup sessions and professional headshots.
Breakfast Club meets at Eclectic Café in Orillia (39 Mississaga St. W.) on Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m., starting on April 25 and ending on June 20.
Past Dress for Success client Josephine remarks on her Breakfast Club experience: “I met some great ladies and made some new friends that I am still in touch with today and learned that I was not alone and that the program was there to support us through our journey to find suitable employment.”
