ORILLIA SHRINE CLUB

For 28 years, Shriners, their ladies and a host of volunteers have come together with businesses and organizations from all of Orillia and surrounding areas to present a great day of golfing, fun challenges, draws, gift bags and, of course, a fabulous steak dinner to wrap it all up.

Businesses of all kinds, along with individuals, are invited to enter their teams to play in this best ball tournament.

Many local businesses have contributed prizes, gifts, services, support and funds all geared toward the ultimate goal of helping Shriners help kids.

It's all about the kids who need us! Too often an illness, accident or other medical conditions will devastate families because of long-term impacts on children, with no seeming support in sight to alleviate the suffering of their offspring.

Through their fund raising efforts such as this annual golf tournament, Shriners organizations throughout the world volunteer themselves in creating and supporting a massive infrastructure designed to help kids in just these situations.

We organize this and other events every year to support kids who need what Shriners dedicate their efforts to providing, without any kind of restrictions or cost. Proceeds support a network of 22 Shriners hospitals, with total operating costs over two million dollars per day, that have been established to address issues affecting children. Treatment and research for pediatric specialty care, burns, orthopaedic conditions, spinal cord injuries as well as cleft palate are all made available to those youth in need.

Come golf with us for on Friday, July 20! Call 705-326-3252 to book yourself or your team for a fun and enjoyable day of golf at the beautiful Bonaire Golf Club in Coldwater.
