VICTORIA HOUSE RETIREMENT HOME

The staff of Victoria House Retirement Home have been helping the residents celebrate Seniors Month a little differently this year.
Residents are missing hugs from families and friends because of the pandemic, but they are keeping busy and still enjoying the in-house activities, although in smaller groups.
Bingo is a favourite activity along with dominoes, trivia, reminiscing and enjoying the warmer weather on the patio.
RPN staff member Lori states that she enjoys interacting with the seniors of Victoria House. Listening to their stories and past experiences makes us appreciate everything they have done to shape our community, and the positive impact of those contributions.
The Ontario government has announced this year’s theme as Stay Safe — Stay in Touch. From all the seniors of Victoria House to all the seniors in Orillia, “Hello and stay safe!”
