He's helping men battle recurrences of prostate cancer

Well-known Toronto researcher will talk about strides being made at free Thursday night meeting

ORILLIA PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS GROUP

Dr. Hans Chung will speak to the Orillia Prostate Cancer awareness group Thursday.

Chung is a well-known cancer researcher and clinician at Sunnybrook Cancer Centre. He is the chief investigator of several research projects.

Chung will be speaking Thursday, Sept. 20, about Salvage Brachytherapy. For many men, there is a recurrence of prostate cancer following radiation. Chung is studying as well as using this treatment on patients.

The meeting will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34, located at 215 Mississaga St. E. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the talk begins at 7 p.m.

The session is free for all to attend, and light refreshments will be provided.
