Titled ‘This Week in Ontario’s Lake Country’, the short, dynamic video shines the spotlight on activities and events in and around the area.

The Brechin Scarecrow Festival takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brechin Community Park. Enjoy games, a vendors’ market, hourly prize draws, music, demonstrations, a pumpkin patch, and differently themed contests including favorite scarecrow with different categories.

The Coldwater Fall Fairs kicks off this Friday and runs all weekend long with this year’s theme as Farming Life – Past, Present and Future. Enjoy truck and tractor pulls, a demolition derby, live music, different vendors, livestock competitions and shows.

This Saturday the 4th annual Copeland Forest Fall Fair takes place at the Horseshoe Cross Country Centre from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, wagon rides, BBQ, vendors, and prizes.
