Kubota employees donate hundreds of pounds of food to Sharing Place

Company also cuts $500 cheque to local agency

Employees of Kubota in Orillia have stepped up to support The Sharing Place Food Centre this holiday season.

The employees, with the support of United Steelworkers Local 9393, held a food drive over the past week, and 435 pounds of food was collected.

The company also donated $500 to The Sharing Place, and Local 9393 purchased $450 worth of food to contribute to the drive.

The food drive was organized by operations manager Lee Coville and United Steelworkers Local 9393 president Coddie Leroux.
